Who are the Favorites to win UEFA Euro 2024?

The UEFA European Championship, also known as the Euros, is like a big family reunion for football lovers. With our scarves waving and our favorite teams to root for, we huddle around our screens. So who has the mojo this time? Let’s find out.

France

The French national team, led by Didier Deschamps, is a powerhouse. France has won the Euros twice before (1984 and 2000), and they want a third. Les Bleus, spearheaded by Kylian Mbappé (who is wearing a mask after fracturing his nose in the first game), Antoine Griezmann, and the reliable N’Golo Kanté, are a formidable force to be reckoned with. France’s chances of winning the tournament are 13.3%, according to the bookmakers. Their defense, led by D Upamecano and Theo Hernandez, is strong, and their attacking prowess can light up any match. Keep an eye on them; they are gunning for glory!

    England

A penalty shootout was all that stood between England and a European Championship crown in 2021. After a heartbreaking defeat to Italy in the final at Wembley Stadium, the Three Lions pondered if they had wasted their best chance of major tournament success. But they’re ready to dance with players like Jude Bellingham, who’s been making waves at Real Madrid, and goal machine Harry Kane.   According to Opta’s pre-tournament projections, England will enter the Euro 2024 Quarterfinals as clear favorites, with a 19.9% chance of capturing the trophy in Germany. Gareth Southgate’s team is ready to roar. Will it come home this time?

      Spain

La Roja plays football like a flamenco dance: beautiful, intricate, and mesmerizing. They’ve won three Euro titles (1964, 2008, and 2012) and are looking to be the first team to win four. They have won all of their group games—against Croatia, Italy, and Albania—without conceding a single goal. Fabián Ruiz’s midfield brilliance and Álvaro Morata’s poacher instinct have proven crucial. Can they silence the Germans in the quarterfinals and march into the finals? We will find out. Ole!

          And There You Have It!

These five teams will give everything they have to lift the trophy on July 14. The stakes are high, the excitement is palpable, and the beautiful game promises unforgettable moments. May the best team win. What are your predictions? Comment and let us know.
