Anaheim, CA – As part of the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, beginning May 16, 2025, both parks are celebrating with various activities, including a new parade featuring classic Walt Disney characters.
The decor is highlighted by its colors and an elegant medallion adorning Sleeping Beauty Castle with glass panels and golden charms representing the five original lands. At Disney California Adventure Park, Carthay Circle restaurant is also decorated with a 70th anniversary banner.
Upon arriving at Disneyland Park, you’re welcomed by Mickey’s Floral Arrangement with a display of vibrant flowers, banners, and multicolored pennants decorating Main Street, U.S.A. In the heart of Town Square, you’ll find a large Mickey and Minnie Mouse medallion installation created especially for the anniversary. All of the above will help you create a beautiful memory of your visit to the Disneyland Resort and be part of the 70th Anniversary.

Disneyland Park debuts a new character cavalcade called “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” (a song performed by The Jonas Brothers), led by Mickey and Minnie in new outfits. Favorite characters will encourage you to dance in a lively and contemporary celebration of seven decades of happiness. You’ll also see Goofy and Max, as well as Duffy and ShellieMay (the adorable teddy bears from Duffy and Friends).
At night, Sleeping Beauty Castle becomes a magnificent canvas of color with the return of the beloved “Wondrous Journeys” show. Throughout the show, you’ll embark on a journey filled with art, music, storytelling, and emotion as you experience moments from stories like “Hercules,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Peter Pan,” “Frozen,” “Big Hero 6,” “Moana,” “Enchantment,” and more, accompanied by fireworks.
The “It’s a Small World” facade comes alive each night through light effects, music, and projections that will thrill you. “Tapestry of Happiness” creates an animated mosaic of Disneyland attractions, moments, and memories in a unique style inspired by the work of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair.

“Paint the Night” is another Disneyland park experience, featuring stunning colors and over a million brilliant LED lights, where Walt Disney characters come to life in spectacular fashion. such as “Monsters Inc,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Tinker Bell,” and more.
And at Disney California Adventure, under the moonlight, “World of Color Happiness!” is an unmissable show. Through synchronized vibrations of dancing fountains and bright lights, you’ll immerse yourself in the world of Disney through its history, presented by Mopets. During the day, in this same park, you’ll be thrilled to see the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” Parade, a tour of wonderful Pixar films. And don’t forget the fantastic musical “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!”, where children will go crazy with excitement upon seeing Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto up close.
In addition to the 70th Anniversary celebration, Disneyland has prepared more than 70 themed menus, and you’ll find hundreds of products from diverse collections for all ages. The “Disneyland Key” is a new item that activates special functions when visiting the nine lands of Disneyland. Disneyland, the key will reveal 9 commemorative pins hidden inside.
