Atlanta became the beating heart of Latino business this September as the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) hosted its 46th Annual National Conference. La Revista Binacional had the privilege of being there, and what we experienced was nothing short of inspiring—a powerful reminder of the unstoppable energy, resilience, and innovation that Latinos bring to the United States.
This wasn’t just a conference. It was a gathering of visionaries, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, policy makers, and dreamers who believe in the power of collaboration. It was a celebration of what we have accomplished and a roadmap of where we are headed. And at the center of it all, the USHCC team delivered an event that raised the bar for excellence.
The Conference That Set a New Standard

From the moment we arrived in Atlanta, it was clear this was going to be a special experience. The conference was impeccably organized, blending business with culture, education with opportunity, and policy with community. Each workshop and panel reflected the diversity of our Latino community—not only in heritage and culture, but in ideas, industries, and aspirations.
The workshops were more than sessions; they were incubators of ideas. From small business growth strategies to the role of technology and AI in shaping the future, the conversations were dynamic, real, and forward-thinking. Leaders shared lessons learned, best practices, and innovative approaches to help Latino-owned businesses thrive. For many entrepreneurs in the room, these weren’t just talks; they were toolkits for action.
Networking was equally impactful. In hallways, receptions, and breakout rooms, connections sparked. Business cards were exchanged, collaborations began, and friendships were formed. The energy was contagious—because when Latinos gather in one place with one mission, magic happens.
Special thanks to Hyatt Regency Atlanta, the venue that made it possible for the Conference to be a success!
The Latino Contribution: An Economic Powerhouse

One message was clear throughout the conference: Latinos are not just participating in the American economy—we are driving it. With a GDP of over $3.2 trillion, if U.S. Latinos were their own country, they would represent the fifth-largest economy in the world. That is not just a statistic; it is a testament to the strength, discipline, and vision of our community.
Latino-owned businesses are opening at a faster rate than any other group in the nation. We are job creators, innovators, and leaders in industries ranging from construction to technology, from food and beverage to finance. The conference reminded us that our growth is not accidental; it is rooted in generations of sacrifice, resilience, and a refusal to be left behind.
But it’s not only about economics. The Latino community brings a cultural richness, a bilingual advantage, and a global perspective that strengthens the very fabric of the United States. In Atlanta, you could feel this collective power—not in numbers alone, but in spirit.
Gratitude for the Team Behind the Scenes
As much as the conference celebrated Latino achievements, we must pause to recognize the extraordinary effort of the USHCC team who made it all possible. Organizing a national conference of this scale is no easy task. It takes months of planning, endless coordination, and a dedication that goes far beyond the spotlight.
Every detail—from the workshops to the keynote speakers, from the receptions to the networking lounges—was executed flawlessly. The flow of the event was smooth, the programming was rich, and the hospitality was genuine. Behind every session, every stage, every microphone, there was a team of professionals working tirelessly to make it happen.
To the USHCC staff, especially Veronica de la Torre who is USHCC’S Director of Special Events, volunteers, and leadership: thank you. Your work not only empowered thousands of attendees but also elevated the visibility of Latino businesses nationwide. You created a space where entrepreneurs could dream bigger, where corporate leaders could connect more meaningfully, and where our collective voice could be amplified.
A Moment of Reflection and Inspiration
For La Revista Binacional, covering this conference was more than reporting—it was witnessing history in motion. We saw firsthand the transformation of challenges into opportunities, and of barriers into bridges. We met entrepreneurs whose businesses are changing their communities, and leaders who are reimagining the future of the American economy through a Latino lens.
Most importantly, we were reminded of something profound: Latinos are not waiting for permission to lead—we are already leading. Conferences like the USHCC National Conference simply shine a light on what we already know: that our community is resilient, ambitious, and unstoppable.
Looking Ahead
As we left Atlanta, the echoes of the conference stayed with us. The conversations continue, the partnerships grow, and the vision expands. The 46th USHCC National Conference was not just an event to remember—it was a milestone in our collective journey.
To our friends at the USHCC: congratulations on an extraordinary achievement. Your work matters deeply, and it inspires us all to do more, give more, and build more—for our families, our businesses, and our community.
Gracias Ramiro Cavazos, president of USHCC and Jackie Puente, Chairwoman of the USHCC’S Board for your leadership.
Atlanta reminded us of who we are and what we can accomplish when we come together. La Revista Binacional is proud to have been part of this unforgettable experience—and we cannot wait to see what’s next in Fort Worth, Texas where the 47th National Conference will take place in 2026!
