2 mins read

After years of development and production delays, “The Flash” movie has finally hit theaters. Starring Ezra Miller as the titular hero, the movie has garnered attention not only for its long-awaited release but also for the personal troubles of its lead actor. In this article, we will take a closer look at “The Flash” and explore its strengths and weaknesses, including Ezra Miller’s performance as the beloved DC Comics character.

PLOT

“The Flash” movie revolves around Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), aka The Flash, discovering that he can travel back in time by pushing his super speed to the limit. He decides to use this power to prevent the death of a beloved relative, which he believes will change the course of his life for the better. However, his actions have unintended consequences, and Barry must team up with another version of himself and find the justice league.

CRITICS

The movie’s plot is both praised and criticized. Some critics have called this movie “great” and praises the movie’s pacing and excitement, while others describe the plot as “thoughtful and clueless, challenging and pandering” and notes that the movie puts a lot of thought into what it wants to say but not enough into how it says it.

A common criticism in superhero movies, including “The Flash,” is pacing problems. Some viewers felt that the film suffered from pacing issues, with certain scenes dragging on or feeling rushed, which affected the overall flow of the story.

Also, another strong criticism was towards the excessive use of CGI. While visual effects are an integral part of superhero films, “The Flash” relied too heavily on CGI, making certain scenes feel artificial or disconnected from the rest of the film.

Overall, it seems that the plot of “The Flash” movie has some interesting ideas but is also criticized for being messy and confusing.

EZRA MILLER’S PERFORMANCE

Now, as for Ezra Miller’s performance. With the controversies in which this actor is involved and the messy execution of this movie, we can say that Ezra Miller’s portrayal of The Flash is nothing short of phenomenal, bringing a fresh and exciting take to the character that fans have come to know and love. We know Barry Allen is one of the Justice League’s favorite characters. Despite the pressure to bring this beloved character to life, Ezra was funny and surprisingly touching at times, and by far the best thing about “The Flash.” He stole every scene with his charisma and helped make “The Flash” one of the funniest movies in the DC universe.

MICHAEL KEATON’S PERFOMANCE AS BRUCE WAYNE/BATMAN

One of the pleasures of “The Flash” was undoubtedly Keaton’s performance, which was just lovely to watch. He was a fun addition to the movie and one of the best fanservice moments of the year.

That reminds us… be prepared to see a lot of great easter eggs and more fanservice moments in this movie.

AFTER CREDITS

And the million-dollar question, is there a post-credits scene? The answer is yes, so stick around at the end for a fun surprise.
