“Big Hero 6” Inspired Dishes at San Fransokyo Plaza at Disney California Adventure

Anaheim, Ca.- Guests of the Disneyland Resort will soon get a taste of San Fransokyo, the industrious mix-up city from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Big Hero 6.” The Disney Parks Blog launched the Disney Eats Dining Guide for San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park.

Local restaurants will begin introducing delicious new offerings throughout the summer, starting with Lucky Fortune Cookery on July 19. In the following weeks, more dining options will debut as the seaside plaza continues its transformation through mid-August.

In addition to some currently existing favorites, foodies, families, and “Big Hero 6” fans can look forward to new menu items like:

• Karaage-Inspired Crispy Chicken Sandwich at Lucky Fortune Cookery, Available Starting July 19

• San Fransokyo-Style Street Corn at Cocina Cucamonga – available starting July 26

• Aunt Cass Café Soba Noodle Salad (Plant Based) (coming soon).

Big Hero 6” fans: the moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here. Get ready because soon you will be able to step foot in San Fransokyo Plaza! This reinvented seaside plaza at Disney California Adventure Park will be filled with delicious dishes from a variety of neighborhood restaurants and small businesses inspired by the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios film.

As you explore this exciting neighborhood, you’ll be met with the delicious smells of must-see treats from places like Aunt Cass Café, Port of San Fransokyo Brewery, and Rita’s Turbine Blenders. Each of these locations will feature diverse menus with items like Katsu Shrimp Sandwich or Beef Birria Ramen and even a Baymax Sipper! And don’t worry, some of your favorites from Lucky Fortune Cookery and Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill will still be around, with new treats to enjoy too.

• Karaage-Inspired Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Slaw and Togarashi Mayonnaise on a Potato Bun served with Garlic Chips (New)

• Beef Birria Ramen with consommé, served with homemade birria, soft-boiled egg, Monterey Jack, cilantro, toasted corn, onion, and radish (New)

• Yaki Udon with mushrooms, sweet snap peas, roasted red peppers, bok choy, and dark soy and hoisin sauces (New) (plant-based)

• Karaage-inspired Chicken Yaki Udon with mushrooms, sweet snap peas, roasted red peppers, bok choy, and dark soy and hoisin sauces (New.)

• Baymax Macaron filled with buttercream and hazelnut chocolate (New).

• Pork Wonton Nachos: Hoisin-glazed pork, cheese sauce, spicy aioli, pickled cabbage, jalapeños, and toasted sesame seeds.

• Teriyaki chicken with sautéed vegetables and steamed rice.

• Beef bulgogi burrito with seasoned rice, cole slaw, and garlic chips.
