The Halloween event begins with frightening creatures that welcome the 38 selected nights until October 31, 2023.

Universal City, CA.- Universal Studios Hollywood marked the long-awaited opening of Halloween Nights with a feverish flurry of excitement, welcoming horrific creatures passing by and giving guests tremendous scares. In the 38 spooky nights they host eight haunted houses: “The Last of Us”, “Stranger Things” and “The Exorcist: Believer”. “Three original scare zones, two new live experiences, plus the popular and iconic Terror Tram.

Halloween Horror Nights continues September 8-10, 14-17, 21-24, 27-30; October 1, 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29 and 31, 2023.

Halloween Horror Nights experiences include:

• “The Last of Us” allows visitors to enter the world of the award-winning post-pandemic video game from Naughty Dog and PlayStation.

• “Stranger Things 4” brings season 4 of the Netflix original series to life, transporting guests to Hawkins, Indiana, where they will encounter the new villain.

• Face a resurrected evil in “The Exorcist: Believer,” inspired by the terrifying new horror film from Universal Pictures by Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Entertainment.

• “Universal Monsters: Unmasked” expands the legacy of Universal Monsters with horror icons The Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Phantom of the Opera and The Hunchback of Notre Dame teaming up for the first time in a new and chilling story. “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count,” inspired by the hit US and SYFY cult classic series and films.

• “Evil Dead Rise” takes guests into a twisted new story in the Evil Dead franchise.

• “Monsters: The Monsters of Latin America” includes the most terrifying ghosts and creatures of Latin American folklore.

• “Holidayz in Hell” takes guests on a petrifying journey through a series of psychotic seasonal celebrations.

• “Terror Tram…The Exterminatorz” places guests on the world-famous Universal set and in the middle of an insect uprising led by the devious Larry Larva, whose goal is to exterminate humans from planet Earth. Fans walk around the set of Nope’s Jupiter’s Claim.

• “Blumhouse: Behind the Screams” is an original concept showcasing a selection of Blumhouse horror films, including the highly anticipated Five Nights at Freddy’s and The Exorcist: Believer.

• For the first time, “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” brings the hit film franchise to an all-new live show. Located within the WaterWorld enclosure.

• “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” celebrates a night of anarchy without thought of punishment or fear of retaliation.

New horror zones tease and torment visitors:

• “El Terror de las Momias” is a Latin-themed horror zone and an extension of the “Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America” haunted house.

• Located on New York Street, the “Toyz” horror zone challenges visitors to play in the toy box of terror.

• A “Ghostz” welcome car featuring a horde of blood-soaked ghosts.
