“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be held at the Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Resort

Anaheim, Ca.- Coinciding with the release of the highly anticipated film, Disneyland Resort unveiled new experiences celebrating “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at Disney California Adventure Park and a new art installation in the Downtown Disney District. From November 11th to January 8th, 2023, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, tastes, and power of Wakanda.

The next warrior to take up the mantle of Black Panther made their first appearance in Avengers Campus. Guests can also feast on African-inspired meals at the Flavors of Wakanda “Wakanda Flavors Market.”

On display in the Downtown Disney District, a new mural created by artist Nikkolas Smith pays homage to the new film, inspired by the world-class technological advances in Wakanda and the ingenuity and determination of its people.

In “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the leaders of Wakanda fight to protect their nation from world powers that intervene after the death of King T’Challa. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must forge a new path for their beloved kingdom. At the Disneyland Resort, we invite you to join your own chapter of that journey!

The Disneyland Resort staff is excited to announce that for a limited time beginning November 11th, 2022, on the release date of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” through January 8th, 2023, you can find, learn, and celebrate the arrival of new visiting warriors, sample Wakanda-inspired treats, discover movie props and more at Avengers Campus and beyond at Disney California Adventure Park, plus pose with a special art installation in the Downtown Disney District.

You are invited to Avengers Campus to witness the world being introduced to the next warrior to take on the legendary mantle of Black Panther. Who will they be?

As previously revealed, M’Baku, one of Wakandan’s greatest warriors and leader of the Jabari Clan, will also be making his way to the Avengers Campus. They announce that M’Baku will invite recruits to join “The Way of the Jabari,” a completely new experience that will share part of the Jabari Clan culture through chants and drumming.

Adjacent to campus, just steps from the site of the Collector’s Warehouse, The Black Panther Celebration Garden will honor the Black Panther’s legacy in Wakandan lore. This celebratory space invites guests to relax and reflect on the legendary protectors of the Kingdom of Wakanda.

Nearby, superhero recruits will find powerful fuel at the Flavors of Wakanda market located in the Hollywood Backlot. Wakandan-inspired delicacies include Peri-Peri Chicken with Yellow Jollof Rice, Butterfly Pea Tea Lemonade, the Dawa Drink, which consists of vodka, lemonade, honey, ginger beer, and butterfly pea tea, and Maafe, a ground peanut stew with sweet potatoes, tomatoes, black-eyed beans, and spices, served with naan.

In the Downtown Disney District, outside the building adjacent to the Star Wars Trading Post, be sure to pose next to a very special limited-time mural celebrating the new movie, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
