Tijuana – Plaza de la Familia returns to Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort from Aug. 23 to Nov. 2, 2024, marking a time to celebrate the eternal bonds of family. Disney Eats unveiled a variety of limited-time special items guests will be able to enjoy, from savory to sweet, that are inspired by Day of the Dead traditions and Pixar’s Oscar-winning film, “Coco.”

Paradise Garden Grill’s delicious selection of Mexican-inspired dishes on the menu includes:

  • Tacos al pastor: pineapple and achiote marinated pork with avocado and tomatillo salsa, served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with queso fresco.
  • Huarache (plant-based): soy beans with chorizo and seasoned steak tips topped with lettuce, cheese, avocado cream and tomatillo sauce, and served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with nopales pico de gallo.
  • Watermelon street-style (plant-based): watermelon with lime juice, chili-lime relish and chamoy.
  • Horchata cheesecake: horchata-flavored cheesecake finished with orange curls and white chocolate.

The return of Family Plaza at Disney California Adventure Park is just days away. Keep your eyes peeled for some additional (and tasty) ways to celebrate the fall season at Disneyland Resort.

Once you’re done tasting, treat yourself by designing your own paper alebrije, or spirit guide, mask of Pepita or Dante, Miguel’s loyal family companions. You might even get a chance to meet Miguel himself! And don’t forget to leave a message for a loved one at the “Mexican Tree of Life” Memorial Wall.
