Arnulfo Manriquez bio:
President and CEO of MAAC, a nonprofit organization that provides programs, leadership development and advocacy throughout the county of San Diego. Arnulfo has worked in the nonprofit field, including affordable housing development, for over 29 years. His experience spans the areas of program development and operations, new construction, acquisition and rehabilitation, re-syndication, homeownership and property management. Arnulfo has served on the boards of the San Diego Housing Federation and Housing California over the past 2 decades. He presently serves on the board directors of Unidos US, a national Latino advocacy organization and has recently joined the Board of Trustees of the San Diego Public Library Foundation. Arnulfo is an alumnus of UC San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Arts in urban studies and planning in 1993. He earned a Master of Arts in Leadership and Nonprofit Management from University of San Diego in 2005. With just over 500 employees, MAAC has expanded its work in the areas of Education, Health, Economic Development, Housing and Leadership & Advocacy and currently has projects under construction and a growing pipeline of new construction projects for the coming years.
