“La Baja Está de Moda” launches activities for their second edition

The Mercedes Benz automobile agency hosted the start of the activities of the second edition of “Baja está de Moda“, whose objective is to promote not only the recognized and emerging talents of this industry, but also some of the tourist areas in the state.

During the welcome message, the director of the event, Débora Reveles, commented that after a pause forced by the pandemic, the exhibition returns with improved aspects that have to do with publicizing the potential of this region in terms of fashion.

She first thanked the Mercedes Benz agency for hosting the kick-off cocktail for the activities that will include the Tijuana Cultural Center, the Hotel Kumiai Inn in the city of Tecate, and the Hotel Boutique La Cima del Valle, in Valle de Guadalupe.

In that sense, she explained that the first two catwalks that were presented this Monday, October 24th, were those of the designers Ángel Grave, Helena González, and Fernanda Guerra.

La Baja está de Moda aims to be an event that will position Baja California in the place it deserves within this industry, since there is a lot of talent that needs a space to make themselves known, so we will be that platform,” she expressed.

Débora Reveles specified that the event will continue on Thursday, October 27 with Monserrat Murillo‘s workshop, the Connect your Styles conference with Luis Cobos, as well as the catwalks by David Silva, from Mérida, Yucatán; Elizabeth Silva, from Sinaloa and German Ruiz from León, Guanajuato.
