TIJUANA.- In a formal ceremony headed by the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, the inauguration of the first international flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Tijuana, Baja California operated by the airline American Airlines, took place with the arrival of the plane at exactly 11:42 am.

In this regard, José María Giraldo, general director of American Airlines in Mexico, explained: “American Airlines marks a milestone by inaugurating the new non-stop route between Tijuana and the United States through our connection center in Phoenix.
