- Baja California becomes American Airlines’ 28th destination in Mexico
TIJUANA.- In a formal ceremony headed by the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, the inauguration of the first international flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Tijuana, Baja California operated by the airline American Airlines, took place with the arrival of the plane at exactly 11:42 am.
The state official highlighted the commitment of the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, to strengthen the air connectivity of the State and in this way promote economic development, tourism and quality of life for all the inhabitants of the entity.
