“Latinos with an attitude” is what sums up L’ATTITUDE, a 4-day event with an agenda filled with speakers, motivation, and the best networking there is for real estate agents, firms, and businesses in general.
San Diego has been the host of this business platform for the last 5 years (2020 was virtual, due to that year’s situation), and Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego has been the venue.
A national event where the focus is to highlight what the Latino community brings to the United States economy. Latinos are a workforce that contributes a remarkably high percentage to the country’s economy.
L’ATTITUDE was founded in 2018 along with NAHREP (National Association of Hispanics Real Estate Professionals), where the focus was to create an event where Hispanic real estate professionals would network and be part of sessions with successful Hispanics from all over the country.
Fiesta, galas, important meetings and sessions, sponsor booths, networking, and a whole experience is what L’ATTITUDE is all about.
This 2022, L’ATTITUDE is shifting from a real estate event to a platform where all Latino businesses can enjoy 4 days of trading business cards, learning from the speakers and mentors that can influence how Latinos can do business in the United States.
Influential show and entertainment business personalities like Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Luis Guzman, and Lin-Manuel Miranda shared their experiences as Latinos thriving in such a competitive environment.
Technology experts emphasized how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is getting more Latinos in graduate schools, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done so that the youth is still interested in it.
This year’s event was even better with sponsors and top speakers like our Ex-President Barack Obama, who closed L’ATTITUDE with an emotional session where he let the audience know how important Latinos are to the United States. He pointed out that Latinos need to have access to funds that help them build a business in an easier way. Immigration laws need to be revised but he also acknowledged that the border is a tricky issue. Latinos need to vote because united “sí se puede.” His admiration for the Latino community was well taken and he was cheered with a standing ovation as he left the podium.
L’ATTITUDE 2022 was successful and La Revista Binacional cannot wait for L’ATTITUDE 2023 in Miami, Florida. (We are already pre-registered).
