For the first time, the “National Business Women’s Congress” was held in Tijuana, an event that offered timely information to those women who are entrepreneurs or who lead a social cause so that they can achieve success.

In an interview, Lorena Almaraz, director of The Coach Academy Mexico, explained that this is the first edition of the event, which took place from October 25th to 27th at the BIT Center in Tijuana, where around 300 participants gathered.

“The idea was to provide these women with the five domains that help them build success, according to their needs, whether in their business projects or those who promote civil associations or social causes,” she explained.

For this, she said, expert speakers were invited on various topics of interest to women entrepreneurs and leaders, such as emotions, interpersonal relationships, finances, time management, collaborations, among others.

The organizer said that the theoretical part was lived in the conferences and panels, while the practical part was given through a series of workshops where the attendees experienced how they can grow their businesses.

“We also had different institutions such as the Ministry of Economy, the ICAT, to provide them with information on financing, since it is an important part, and the idea was that they know how to access credit,” she pointed out.

For her part, Perla Herrera, director of Capa Red, commented that the objective of this first “National Women’s Business Congress” was to impart knowledge, but also to strengthen the areas where women have needs.

“We want businesswomen and networkers to meet their goals, so this first congress was focused on opportunities, growth and wealth, so that they can make their businesses successful both personally and professionally and financially,” she assured.

Hence, more than 50 sponsoring brands, agencies, and civil associations joined this event, in order to promote every woman with an entrepreneurial project, in any field.

Finally, the board invited those women who could not attend this first Congress, to follow the social networks of Capa Red and La Coach Academy Mexico to be aware of future activities that will be carried out in favor of women entrepreneurs and social managers.
