To promote the tourist destinations offered by the so-called “Cinderella of the Pacific“, representatives of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Canaco) of Ensenada, participated in the work of the National Tourism Congress, organized by the Concanaco Servytur.

The president of Canaco Ensenada, Dr. Octavio de la Torre de Steffano, highlighted that, under the organization of the national leader of the organization in Mexico, Héctor Tejada Shaar, tourism in the country was analyzed, as well as its new trends that require a framework integral, capable of generating a profitable but also inclusive activity, in which all Mexicans have a place.

He explained that said congress had the participation of more than 35 national and international specialists who addressed the challenges and opportunities that tourism presents for Mexico.

Representatives of the 257 Chambers, abounded, listened and reflected on proposals related to tourism and its trends, such as the “Pet Friendly“, the “Mindfulness“, the Sustainable Nautical or the “Bleisure”, which seeks to combine the tourism of Businesses with a planned recreational activity.

Octavio de la Torre mentioned that, according to the president of the Confederation, Héctor Tejada Shaar, this Congress represents an effort by the top organization to bring together the more than 4.5 million companies in the tertiary sector -almost 800,000 of them dedicated to the activity tourism – cutting-edge knowledge.

“With the presence of national and international organizations, this congress is essential for the continuous learning that businessmen must maintain about the sector. Our responsibility is to represent the interests of tourism, but, in addition, we are a proactive and consultative body for any initiative, ”he recalled.

Digitization is, the business leader stressed, an essential tool for companies involved in tourism to increase their profitability, while reaching new horizons.

Therefore, Canaco Ensenada, joins Concanaco Servytur México, in the development of Concatour, which will be a digital platform available to its 257 Chambers and their affiliates to generate tourist experiences in a digital ecosystem, concluded De la Torre.
