Tijuana – The holiday season is coming to Disneyland Resort from Nov. 15, 2024 to Jan. 6, 2025, with a wide variety of festive and family entertainment, including character sightings, nightly shows and live bands. The theme park launched a guide to lively, must-see entertainment throughout the resort, including multiple new offerings debuting this year.
Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park features new entertainment for guests of all ages:
– “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” brings guests together to sing the beloved songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Enchantment” in an emotional musical performance.
– “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” features emotional stories, timeless songs and an appearance by Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco.”
– A wide rotation of live entertainment offers a variety of high-energy holiday fun every day with a wide range of genres, including mariachi, jazz, klezmer, Latin pop, fusion, reggae, polka and more.
New this year at Disneyland Park, guests can meet Santa Claus and select Disney characters at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” in the Fantasyland Theatre.
Entertainment highlights for the holiday season include:
– “World of Color – Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure park.
– “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland Park
– Live music and “snowfall” nightly on the stage and lawn at Downtown Disney LIVE!
– Christmas caroling on select days at Disneyland Resort hotels.

The “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks show lights up the night sky over Disneyland as Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle sparkles with more than 80,000 twinkling lights, glittering “icicles” and glittering snow-covered turrets. You can also experience a magical “snowfall” on parts of Main Street, U.S.A., near “it’s a small world” Holiday and along Rivers of America during Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle every night.
At Disney California Adventure, you’ll have the opportunity to witness a magnificent 50-foot tree illuminated in dazzling splendor during the Buena Vista Street Tree Lighting.
As dusk begins to fall each evening at Disneyland, you can gather in front of the “it’s a small world” attraction to watch thousands of twinkling lights come to life. Then, during select times throughout the night, a joyful light projection show animates the attraction’s façade with a kaleidoscope of colors and holiday images.
Holiday festivities extend to the Downtown Disney District with holiday décor, shopping and entertainment. The Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn will feature live seasonal music nightly, with featured performances spanning genres such as rock, jazz and classic carols.
Snow” will also fall near the Downtown Disney District LIVE! stage and lawn during special times each night from Nov. 29 through Jan. 6.
