The new multi-level, 111-piece, family-friendly attraction, ‘All New Count’s Splash Castle‘, opens June 30, children under three get free admission to the park.

San Diego, Ca. Sesame Place San Diego, the only theme park on the West Coast based entirely on the award-winning Sesame Street program, will open an all-new attraction this summer. Opening Friday June 30, Count’s Splash Castle is a new multi-level water play attraction perfect for all park guests, even the little ones. To celebrate this new play experience for all ages, Sesame Place announced that children under the age of three will now get free admission to the park each time they visit.
The new Count’s Splash Castle is a multi-level, interactive water play attraction featuring 111 play elements, including three giant tipping buckets that discharge more than 1,300 gallons of water combined. Built with the whole family in mind, from the smallest splashers to the big kids and adults, the structure will feature four exciting waterslides, plus soakers, flow pipes, hose jets, spray jets, water shooters, curtains of water, tilting channels, rotating games, and sliding buckets, and much more! The new Count’s Splash Castle replaces the old splash pad and is twice the size of the previous attraction, making this attraction bigger and more eye-catching than ever!
Year-Round Fun at Sesame Place San Diego Sesame Place offers 18 Sesame Street-themed rides and attractions. From a child’s first roller coaster ride at Super Grover’s Box Car Derby to the colorful Sunny Day Carousel and an imaginary trip into outer space at Elmo’s Rockin’ Rockets, the rides at Sesame Place are designed with the whole family in mind. Popular water rides like Big Bird’s Beach, Elmo’s Silly Sand Slides, Honker Dinger Dash, and more are now open for family fun!
In addition to the attractions, the park features an engaging musical playground, an interactive Sesame Street neighborhood complete with the iconic 123 Stoop, daily live character shows, an award-winning parade, unique photo opportunities, and of course Of course, the furry friends of everyone on Sesame Street.
