The Happiest Place on Earth will host D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, the date is Thursday, August 8, 2024, includes fun and surprises.

Disneyland Resort announced to all fans, including D23: The Official Disney Fan Club Members and D23 event attendees, a valid theme park admission with reservation, and what they can expect during this resort-wide event, which includes:
- Beginning at park opening and while supplies last, a limited number of complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats will be given to guests entering Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on August 8.
- A Disneyland Park ride featuring 23 selected Disney characters and legends.
- Characters making limited-time appearances, including Goofy and Max from “Goof Troop”
- New merchandise: a “Tarzan” collection, D23 Day at Disneyland Resort medallions and more.
- All park guests with valid park admission and theme park reservations on August 8 will receive unlimited free digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day.
As part of the festivities, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party at Disney California Adventure Park on August 8 will feature activities that preschoolers and their families can enjoy:
- Disney Jr.’s Ariel will make a special one-day appearance, making her Disney Parks debut in a whimsical parade with iconic Disney Jr. friends.
- Special “Disney Jr.’s Ariel” arts and crafts area and live performances in Hollywood Land.
- Return of “Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties” cupcake decorating activity.
Downtown Disney District extends the fun with discounts and deals all week long, Sunday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 11.
To add even more excitement on Thursday, Aug. 8, Create Your Own Headbands will return to Disneyland Resort at The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park and at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park.
