Universal City, Ca.- Buckle up…Universal Studios Hollywood announced that construction will soon break ground on its new roller coaster, themed after Universal Pictures‘ blockbuster Fast & Furious saga, as the world-class entertainment destination continues. elevating visitor experiences.

Renowned for creating innovative and imaginative rides and attractions inspired by today’s most compelling movie, TV and digital gaming experiences, Universal Studios Hollywood will bring never-before-added innovative and technological achievements on this all-new thrill ride.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art ride system created exclusively to immerse guests in the dynamic Fast & Furious universe, this new roller coaster will benefit from Universal Destinations & Experiences’ decades of experience in revolutionizing contemporary roller coaster development through through its global theme park destinations.

The ride will join Universal Studios Hollywood’s roster of groundbreaking and unprecedented attractions, including the all-new, interactive and immersive land, “SUPER NINTENDO WORLD,” featuring the critically acclaimed ride “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge”; “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” featuring the attractions “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” and “Flight of the Hippogriff,” located next to the town of Hogsmeade; “Jurassic World—The Ride”; “The Secret Life of Pets : Off the Leash” and Illumination’s “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem”; Springfield U.S.A., hometown of America’s favorite TV family and “The Simpsons Ride”; along with the exclusive behind-the-scenes Studio Tour, featuring guests a front-row seat in an authentic film and television production studio for an exclusive look at original movie sets including Jupiter’s Claim from Jordan Peele’s NOPE and Courthouse Square from the movie Back to the Future, as well as experiential attractions like “Fast & Furious—Supercharged” and “King Kong 360 3D,” inspired by the blockbuster movies.
