Disney100 celebrates with the beautiful Castle Night Show, a visual walkthrough story told through time, with special effects, music, lighting, and fireworks.

Anaheim, Ca.- The experience of living the new Disney Live Entertainment night show “Wondrous Journeys,” you cannot miss it. Disneyland Resort offers this beautiful show to celebrate The Walt Disney Company, ‘Disney100’.
The original song “It’s Wondrous” and the sentiments of the creative minds behind the show transport guests back in time from the earliest Walt Disney stories to the present, as projections on the mighty Castle, immerse you in the time of your childhood and inevitably shed a tear.
During this tribute to 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios, Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, the “it’s a small world” façade, and Rivers of America will become an artist’s canvas with lighting effects, projections, and more. On select nights, “Wondrous Journeys” will be even bigger with the addition of brilliant fireworks.
This new nighttime extravaganza will celebrate 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios in an experience that ignites the dreamer in all of us. “Wondrous Journeys” takes a look back at every movie released by the iconic studio over the past century, featuring music, characters, and special moments from favorite stories, including “Charm” (pictured above), “Hercules,” “The Princess and the Toad,” “Peter Pan,” “Frozen,” “Treasure Planet,” “Big Hero 6”, “Moana” and more.
After three decades in the movie business, Walt Disney created a whole new form of family entertainment in 1955 with the opening of Disneyland Park. That’s why Disneyland, Walt’s original park, is the perfect place to debut “Wondrous Journeys.”
The show will also feature a new original song, “It’s Wondrous,” that awakens your child’s heart and embarks on an adventure filled with art, music, and storytelling as we celebrate Disney Animation dreamers who have shared their imaginations and talents with the world for a hundred years.
State-of-the-art projection effects surround you with blank sheets of paper, pencil sketches, and pops of color, while animators’ art brings beloved characters to life, from Mickey Mouse and Bambi to Ariel and Mirabel. And in a thrilling moment of heroism, Baymax rises above Sleeping Beauty Castle inspiring us all to fight for our dreams.
