Black Mirror Season 6 (On NETFLIX June 15)

Black Mirror is a British TV show that explores the possible side effects of technology and is infused with speculative fiction. The show is an anthology series with each episode featuring a different cast, setting, and subject. The show is critically acclaimed and beloved around the globe. It follows two generalized themes: the idea that human beings as a collective are becoming increasingly disconnected from other people and even themselves, and the use of technology to comment on contemporary social issues.

Season 6 will consist of five episodes titled “Joan Is Awful,” “Loch Henry,” “Beyond the Sea,” “Mazey Day,” and “Demon 79”.

The first episode, “Joan Is Awful,” follows an average woman who is stunned to discover a global streaming platform has launched a prestige TV drama adaptation of her life, in which she is portrayed by Hollywood A-lister Salma Hayek.

Loch Henry”: A young couple travels to Scotland to work on a nature documentary only to find themselves in the middle of a juicy local story.

Beyond the Sea”: Two men find themselves in the middle of a dangerous high-tech mission in an alternate 1969.

Mazey Day‘”: A celebrity is besieged by paparazzi as she deals with the aftermath of a hit-and-run.

Demon 79”: A young sales assistant must commit terrible acts to prevent a disaster.

The season will feature a stellar cast that includes Michael Cera, Rob Delaney, Ben Barnes, Himesh Patel, Zazie Beetz, Paapa Essiedu, Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Danny Ramirez, Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton, Anjana Vasan, and more.

Black Mirror season 6 will be more cinematic in scope, with each installment being treated as an individual film.

Outlander Season 7 (On STARZ June 16)

Outlander is a historical fantasy series that follows the story of Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), who travels through time to 18th-century Scotland, where she finds adventure and romance with the dashing Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). This popular historical time-traveling drama is returning for a seventh season and promises an eighth season.

The seventh season of Outlander will pick up with Jamie, Claire, and their family caught in the violent birth pains of an emerging nation as armies march, and once again, the couple will go against the world.

And Just Like That Season 2 (HBO June 22)


The series follows Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The show explores how the three women navigate parenthood, friendship, fashion, and of course NEW YORK in their fifties and sixties.

Not to mention that it is rumored that the iconic Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) will make a brief appearance this season.

The Witcher Season 3 (On NETFLIX June 29)

The Witcher is a fantasy drama television series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for Netflix and based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The show is set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as the Continent and explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, and Princess Ciri.

The Witcher is centered around Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), a professional monster hunter for hire also known as a “witcher”, who struggles to keep his humanity in a medieval dark fantasy world ruled by corrupt kings, queens, and mages, where poverty, violence, and intolerance are rampant, and normal humans are sometimes worse than actual monsters.

Henry Cavill’s departure from the fantasy drama series was formally announced along with the fourth season’s renewal news. Liam Hemsworth will take on the lead role in his place.
