Inca Kola USA, the Salute to Hispanics in Sports and Entertainment, and The Phoenix Game Week Kick Off Reception Host Committee invited La Revista Binacional to its traditional golf tournament over at WIGWAM GOLF COURSE in Litchfield, Arizona.

February 8th, at 9:00 am, 102 golfers were ready to have fun and play golf on this beautiful golf course. The weather was perfect for a day at the green.

At the end of the day, a reception and award ceremony followed, where golfers and sponsors got to meet and greet each other and have a very nice time.

Andy Vargas, lead singer of SANTANA group, had everyone dancing and enjoying this wonderful party.

The Salute to Hispanics in Sports and Entertainment Initiative is to provide recognition to Hispanics in Sports and Entertainment for their accomplishments both on and off the field. The program aims to enhance the positive image of Hispanics by highlighting the great community work being done by these professionals. All net proceeds will benefit the Equality Health Foundation, Andy Vargas Foundation, and the Inca Kola Humanitarian Aid Mission to the Dominican Republic where we provide basic medical exams and medicine for underprivileged children and pregnant women.

Honorees:

  • Daniel Suarez – Nascar
  • Andy Vargas – Lead singer of Santana (www.AndyVargas.com)
  • Jonathan Casillas – NFL alumnus
  • Fernando Hernandez – Senior Director, Supplier Diversity Coca-Cola Company
  • Maria Anguiano – Executive Vice President Learning Enterprise at Arizona State University.

Inca Kola, the golden cola, is a delicious yellow beverage made from pure cane sugar that was created in Peru. It is the product manufactured nowadays by Continental Food and Beverage Inc. (CF&B), the first Coca-Cola company bottler and distributor owned by a Hispanic woman.

Special thanks to Elizabeth Chalas Berman, CEO of Inca Kola, for giving us the warm welcome and making LA REVISTA BINACIONAL a part of this event during Super Bowl week.

We are looking forward to continuing collaborating with this great Hispanic and binational company.
