As a Nicaraguan immigrant who arrived in the United States in 1969, Carlos has not only witnessed the change and evolution of the Hispanic community, but has been an active part of its transformation, leading with passion and vision from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of San Francisco (HCCSF).
Elida Almonte is a prominent community and political leader who has dedicated her career to making a lasting impact on the Dominican community in the United States. As the visionary behind the Dominican Taste Festival and the founder of the Dominican USA Chamber of Commerce, Almonte has been instrumental in promoting both business opportunities and cultural exchange for Dominicans living in the U.S.
On September 24, we went to Florida and got to experience an amazing event where thousands of businesses got together to network, learn, grow their potential clients, listen to keynote speakers, all of this while also having a very good time.
