MTV, the channel that turned music into a visual experience, has announced the permanent closure of its channels dedicated exclusively to music videos. MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s, Club MTV, and MTV Live will cease to exist on December 31, 2025, in several countries around the world.
