Conozcamos a Patty Juárez, una Cachanilla que ha llegado lejos

La Revista Binacional conoció a Patty Juárez, una mujer cachanilla (de Mexicali, BC) que desde jovencita salió con su familia de México y llega a El Centro, CA a buscar nuevas oportunidades.

Patty nos platica sobre su persona, su vida, su camino y sus inicios en Wells Fargo cuando era una jovencita.

Patty al ingresar a esta institución bancaria tan importante, ve la oportunidad de orientar y educar a los hispanos que necesitan esa “ayuda” y ese “empujoncito” para triunfar en sus negocios.

En esta entrevista, nos platica un poco sobre Dream Builders, un proyecto que va a ayudar a hispanas mujeres emprendedoras lanzarse con su negocio de una manera profesional.

Patty nos platica qué nos falta a los hispanos y latinos para lograr nuestros sueños o crecer los proyectos que ya tenemos empezados y sobre todo hace énfasis que existen las herramientas que todos buscamos para ayudar a solventar nuestro negocio.

Como mujer nos da el consejo de que no podemos ser perfectas en todos nuestros roles, “la perfección lleva mucho sacrificio y la vida no es perfecta”. Nos aconseja a todas las mujeres que todo lo podemos lograr, aun sin ser perfecto en todo.

Wells Fargo Commercial Banking

Patty Juarez has spent more than 26 years in Commercial Banking where she has held various leadership roles. Currently, Patty serves as the head of Diverse Segments creating, developing, and executing our Diverse Segments strategy for Commercial Banking. Patty earned her bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga. Patty joined Wells Fargo in 1995 as a financial analyst and completed the bank’s Credit Management Training Program in 1998. She joined the Santa Clara office where she focused on technology clients and was promoted to credit officer and held this position until she transitioned to regional vice president of the North Orange County office in 2010.Patty is active in a variety of professional and community organizations. She was chairperson and now board development chair of the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of Orange County’s 30,000Hispanic-owned businesses. She is also chair of the board of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Orange County. CASA trains community volunteers to serve as powerful mentors and advocates for the community’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children. Patty is also a member of the Latinx Outreach Leadership Advisory Board at Delta Airlines, the Orange County School of the Arts Foundation Board, and on the advisory board of the Latino Donor Collaborative. Lastly, Patty sits on the dean’s board of counselors for Chapman University’s school of business and on Chapman’s Board of Governors. Externally, Patty often speaks about topics such as Diversity and Inclusion, diverse segments, multi-cultural marketing, and financial literacy. Internally, Patty is the president of Latin Connection, one of the largest employee resource groups at Wells Fargo (50 chapters) representing more than 40,000 Latinos. She also serves as co-chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council for Commercial Banking. Patty lives in South Orange County, California, with her husband Manny and her children Isabella and Max.
