The Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego is partnering with Alianza MX, the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC), the California Student Opportunity and Access Program (Cal-SOAP), the North County Family Justice Center, and stakeholders to host the first bilingual university fair in North County San Diego. This fair aims to guide first-generation students into enrolling in college and applying for financial aid through FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

California is a state that is well known for its generosity towards the migrant community, and this fair hopes to encourage students, regardless of their immigration status, to continue their studies after graduating high school.

At this fair, students will find information and booths from the three central university systems in the state: the University of California, California State Universities, and Community Colleges.

This is the first fair of this kind to be organized by the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego. They hope this event will continue and grow to be the top choice for first-generation students to obtain all the tools they need to continue their education.
