Anaheim, Ca.- Tiana’s Palace Restaurant opens at Disneyland Park on September 7, 2023, introducing new menu items that embody Tiana’s story and honor the flavors and style of New Orleans. Disney Eats unveiled a first look at the food and drink options coming to the reimagined quick-service-style venue inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog.”

In addition to drawing inspiration from Crescent City cuisine, the Disneyland Resort culinary team strives to source some ingredients directly from the state of Louisiana whenever possible. When Tiana’s Palace opens, guests will be able to mobile order food and beverages from this location using the Disneyland app.

Tiana’s Palace restaurant will feature selections such as:

• House-filled beignet with lemon ice cream pie filling and finished with lemon frosting.

• 7 Greens Gumbo (plant based) with navy beans, okra, yams, sweet potatoes and heirloom rice.

• Gulf shrimp and grits with salsa criolla.

• Joffrey’s Coffee chicory cold brew topped with sweet cream.

If you liked the gumbo, this place will have a couple of different options for you to try. The 7 Greens Gumbo is a plant-based option that you must try. And of course, we have the Gumbo House. This dish is a New Orleans staple that combines braised chicken, andouille sausage, and traditional rice into one delicious treat that will keep you coming back for more.

• The Muffuletta sandwich combines bologna, salami, rosemary ham, cheddar cheese, provolone cheese and house-made olive sauce on toasted New Orleans sesame seed bread. Another staple, the Beef Po-boy sandwich, features slow-cooked beef perfectly smothered in sauce and fully dressed with shredded lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on toasted New Orleans French bread. Both tasty morsels are served alongside red beans, rice, and homemade pickles.

• Now, the star of the show… No restaurant inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog” could be complete without beignets, and at Tiana’s Palace, dessert always comes first. But these delicacies are not your typical fritters. The Home-Stuffed Beignet features a delicious lemon iced tart filling topped with lemon glaze for the perfect bite.

• There’s also a sip special on the menu. Joffrey’s Coffee Chicory Cold Brew topped with sweet cream is a must for coffee lovers. The Ray Firefly Glow Cube* is also available with the purchase of a drink. This adorable addition will light up your drink just like Evangeline lights up the night sky.

The opening of Tiana’s Palace restaurant will mark the next step in bringing more Princess Tiana stories to life in New Orleans Square, which began with Eudora’s Chic Boutique with Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets last year and will continue with the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction in 2024. Beneath the illuminated canopy reading “Tiana’s Palace” hanging over a metallic gold balcony are emerald green wrought iron railings and yellow and green tinted awnings, reminiscent of Tiana’s beautiful formal ball gown.
